Position Purpose
Responsible for all accounting functions on specific construction projects with an emphasis on publicly funded contracts requiring prevailing wage/Davis-Bacon wage compliance
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices and payments via Timberline and Timberscan softwares
- Process monthly subcontractor invoices and payments for assigned projects
- Monitor subcontractor secondary subs and suppliers
- Monitor submission and verify accuracy of all certified payroll provided by subcontractors (generally via LCPTracker software)
- Assist project team in answering financial questions relating to monthly profit projection
Other Job Functions
- Generate monthly invoice to client per team’s direction
- Hold preconstruction meetings with subcontractors to explain wage requirements per wage determinations established by the Department of Labor for each specific project
- Coordinate subcontract accuracy with project administrator
- Verify insurance compliance with members of Risk Management team and communicate deficiencies to subs
- Take direction and work closely with Senior Project Accountant and/or Project Accounting Supervisor
Requirements
- 4 year degree or 2 years of AP construction experience, certified payroll experience preferred
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
